Pricing

Three numbers, on the page.

The second-loudest complaint about every tool in this category is the bill going up after you've committed. Publishing the price and holding it is the whole point.

Prices in USD, billed monthly through Shopify alongside everything else. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. There is no free plan.

Line by line

Every plan sees the same numbers.

The workspace does not get cut down to sell you the next tier up — the truth about your stock is the product, and it is not a feature we hold back. What changes is how much Stocked does when you are not looking at it: you look, then it tells you, then it acts.

Questions we'd rather answer up front.

Does the price go up later?

Not on your plan. Published rates can change for new accounts, but a rate you are already on is yours — including a founding rate, for as long as you stay on that plan or move up from it. There are no revenue-based tiers and no quote-only enterprise plan.

Is there a variant or location limit that bites later?

No. There is no cap on variants or locations on any plan, including Essentials at $39, and there never will be — a catalogue that grew is the wrong thing to charge for. Plans are capped on people, not products: 1 user on Essentials, 5 on Growth, unlimited on Pro.

Which alerts do I get on Essentials?

The ones that mean something is wrong right now: stockout risk, low stock, oversold, and selling below cost — plus notices when a sync or a bulk job fails. They appear in the app.

Growth adds the alerts that spot a trend rather than an emergency — cost creep, margin below floor, reorder due, purchase order overdue, demand spikes and slumps — and emails them to you, either as they fire or as a daily or weekly digest. Nothing that would let you stock out is behind a paywall.

Does Stocked do reorder points or suggested order quantities?

It suggests quantities, on every plan. The figure is your sales velocity multiplied by supplier lead time plus your cover target, less what you hold and what is already on order, rounded up to the supplier's minimum order quantity.

What it does not have is a minimum and maximum level you set per SKU, the way Stocky did. If that specific habit is what you are replacing, read what it doesn't do before you commit.

Can Stocked change my prices automatically?

Only if you turn it on, and only on Pro. Every plan defaults to suggest-and-approve: rules and competitor movements land in a queue and wait for you. On Pro you can let an individual rule apply itself, and even then it cannot cross the margin floor or the daily move cap you set for it.

What's in the 14-day trial, and do I need a card?

You pick a plan, approve it in Shopify, and the first 14 days are free — Shopify does not charge until they are up, and there is no card to enter because billing runs through your Shopify account. Cancel inside the 14 days and you pay nothing.

The trial is of the plan you chose, not a temporary upgrade to a higher one.

Is there a free plan?

No. Essentials at $39 is the entry point, and it carries the whole inventory workspace rather than a cut-down version of it. A free tier funded by holding features back is exactly the pricing model this was built to avoid.

How do the founding rates work?

You claim a place by joining the founding list. The first 50 addresses on it pay $29, $69 or $149 when Stocked is listed, and keep that rate for as long as they stay on that plan or move up from it. Your confirmation email carries a claim link: open it when you install and the rate is applied to that store, whatever address you set it up under.

You have 30 days from the day Stocked is listed to claim. Places not taken up by then go back to the list, so the 50 go to stores that actually turn up.

After that the rate belongs to the store rather than to a person, so a place is claimed once however many people end up using it. It travels with you when you move up a plan: a founding store going from Essentials to Growth pays $69, not $89.

Moving down ends it. Drop to a cheaper plan and you pay the published rate from then on, and going back up later does not bring the founding rate back. Your place is still counted against the 50 — it does not return to the pool. The rate is for stores that stay where they started or grow, not for moving between plans to find a discount.

Do I need Shopify POS Pro?

No. Stocky required a POS Pro subscription; Stocked does not. It works for online-only stores, retail stores and everything between, on any Shopify plan.

Can I bring my existing costs and suppliers in?

Yes, through two CSV importers on every plan: one for suppliers with their costs, lead times and minimum order quantities, and one for an opening cost per variant. Every row is validated and shown to you before a single one is written. See migrating to Stocked.

What does the forecasting actually do?

It computes a 30-day statistical forecast per variant from your own Shopify order history, and turns it into days of cover and a stockout-risk score. It is arithmetic on your sales, not a model — there is no AI, no seasonality engine and no written commentary.

The first 50 on the list keep the founding rate.

Stocked is not on the Shopify App Store yet. Join the founding list and we'll email you the day it is.
